Newly elected member sworn into office. Mayor—W.E. Parr, Trustees John Moore,
C.L. Odem, Glenn Brunk, M.G. Talley, Volney DeRush, H.D. Locke--Mayor
Pro-Tem. F.H. Lischke was appointed
to serve as Town Recorder & Treasurer for the next two years. C.S. Blanchard was appointed as Police
Magistrate.

It was agreed that the Town pay Mrs. Sando $1.00 per
month for sounding the fire siren at the hour of noon each day.
May
24th, 1932—
- The regular
meeting was held at the banking house of the Bank of DeBeque.
- L.T. Stewart
was written a letter stating that it would be necessary for him to
move his head gate on the Town ditch to a point designated by the
ditch superintendent.
- Bills for
labor on the Roan Creek Ditch #2 to Preston Stoner--$69.00 and Jack
Stoner--$25.00 be paid from the Town Treasury.
June
1932---no meeting held.
July 5, 1932
- The matter
of reduction of light and power rates with Public Service Company was
discussed, and a committee was formed to meet with Mr. Rump of Grand
Junction. The committee was to
set the date.
- It was
decided to have the Water Superintendent flush the fire hydrants every
thirty days during the moderate season of the year.
August 25, 1932
- The
following bills were read, approved and warrants ordered to be drawn.

- Discussion
was held for the amount charged for water at the standpipe and it was decided that the rate
should be increased to $.10 per barrel.

October
4th, 1932
- Minutes of
the previous meeting were read and approved.
- Bills
approved, and warrants ordered drawn in payment: Public Service
Company-$78.80 & $27.00, Ind. Lumber Company-$ 6.75, DeBeque
Service Sta.-$33.57, Preston Stoner-$ 3.50.
- Discussion
of the water rate at the DeBeque Hotel building was had, and it was
agreed that the rate be reduced to $5.00 per month until further
notice.
November
3, 1932
- Letter from
the County Assessor, showing the valuation of the Town of DeBeque for
the year 1932 at a figure of $159,378.00. It was voted to place a levy at 35
mills.
- Bills
approved: Independent Lumber Co.-$.30, Maurice Barz-$3.00, Public
Service Co-$76.40 & $27.00, Preston Stoner-$2.40, DeBeque Service
Station-$16.66.
December
6, 1932
- Signs
extending over the sidewalks on Minter Avenue where the state highway
runs through, were notified to remove and place on owners property.
- Bill

& Co-$5.45, Independent Lumber Co.-4.85, DeBeque Service
