THE LITTLE BOOKCLIFFS WILDERNESS AREA

The Little Bookcliffs Wilderness Study Area consists of 26,525 acres of public lands characterized by gently sloping plateaus, dissected by four major Canyon systems (Main, Coal, Cottonwood and Spring.) The outstanding scenic beauty, topographic diversity and the presence of the wild horse heard offers excellent photography opportunities. The ruggedness and abrupt slopes leading to the valley floor give distinct character.
